Notes: This book series is amazing but can be quite a commitment because it is so long. If you are into reading murder mysteries it is a very fun read, there is an overall main plot while all the murder mysteries are just things that are happening in a much bigger story. If you're not sure whether or not you want to read it all it's always fun to just read it on and off throughout your life. No need to finish in one setting (which is literally what I did, it took me weeks and that was all I did). It has some romance in it but the main focus is Conan Edogawa (Shinichi (Jimmy) Kudo) trying to get back to his original form. Depending on which translations you read the main character will be referred to as Shinichi or Jimmy Kudo, some of the other characters' names are also different (just an FYI because I got super confused when it switched from the English names to the original Japanese names because I switched to a different translation).

Short Summary: This is a series of murder mystery manga that focuses on the character Shinichi aka Jimmy Kudo. Shinichi is shrunken by a mysterious drug meant to kill him but instead, it shrinks him into a first-grader and he continues to solve murder mysteries.

Summary: Teen detective Shinichi Kudo is shrunken by a mysterious drug meant to kill him. He embarks on a journey to find the culprits and bring down their operation. Along the way, he solves murder mystery after murder mystery. Taking down murderers all the while stuck in the body of a first-grader by the alias Conan Edogawa. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it sounds, because as a child no one will listen to what you have to say. So Conan has to take matters into his own hands by creating creative and very hilarious ways to give out deductions and make sure that the "One truth prevails".
