Notes: This book made me fall in love with reading. I read this entire series in fourth grade and I loved it so obsessively that reading this series is all I did. I would work really hard on math so that my mom would get me the next book, and I just realized that she bribed me to do education with education. (Classic mom moment) This book series is fantastic because Michael Buckley uses classic fairytales and adds a twist to them, mystery. If you aren't into murder mysteries or even if you are these are some wonderful mystery books to read no matter what age you are. Buckley takes classic fairytales and makes you wonder; what if? what would happen if there was a fairytale town with a whole lot of mysteries?

Short Summary: With the disappearance of Sabrina and Daphne's parents, they are sent to go live with their grandmother whom they thought was dead. But not only is their Granny Relda very alive... she goes around solving mysteries, mysteries that involve fairytale characters.

Summary: With the strange disappearance of Sabrina and Daphne Grimm's parents they are sent to their only known relative; Granny Relda. The only trouble with this is that she's supposed to be dead, at least that's what Sabrina and Daphne were told. So now they're stuck with a woman who might or might not be their grandmother who claims to be a detective. And not just any detective but one that only solves cases for Everafters (fairy-tale characters) in the town of Ferryport Landing. Sabrina does not believe that Granny Relda is who she claims to be, that is before Granny Relda is kidnapped by a giant. Both Sabrina and Daphne must take on the title of detective, get to the bottom of the case, and save their grandma before it's too late.
